Breakfree Adventures is an established and trademarked company registered with the Government of Nepal and we accept all bookings under these terms and conditions.

Booking Information

All booking information must be completed and returned with copies of necessary documents such as proof of identification of all travelers within a party. We require 20% of your purchase as a deposit to secure all arrangements for tours and treks; the remaining balance is to be paid on arrival in Kathmandu. A failure to pay the remaining balance upon arrival can result in a forfeit of the deposit and cancellation of services provided by our company.

How to pay your deposit

Deposit payment can be made through bank transfer, paypal or a money courier service.

Cancellation Policy

If a customer wishes to cancel their trip for any reason , Breakfree Adventures will fully refund all deposits if a letter of cancellation is received by our staff, by mail or email, one month prior to the arranged starting date of any and all activities arrange by our company. A failure to notify Breakfree Adventures of cancellation prior to one month will result in a forfeit of deposit.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Our customers must be made aware that changes in itineraries do happen do to external forces beyond the control of our company. We do not take any responsibility for changes do to natural disaster, war, or changes in political or social climate that may hinder travel plans or itineraries. Our company reserves the right to adjust prearranged schedules when circumstances such as weather, political turmoil, etc. alter a set itinerary. Our company gladly offers alternative trips of a similar nature at no cost to our customers.

Personal Belongings

We do not take any responsibility for lost or stolen luggage, personal belongings as it is the responsibility of the traveler to account for the safety of their personal property.

Clients’ Responsibility

We do not take any responsibility for injury or death while travelers are engaged in activities that our company facilitates. It is the responsibility of the traveler to have the proper insurance and health care necessary before they embark on any tours or treks. Our customers must abide by the expertise and decision making of our experienced guides while on trekking routes or touring.

Travel Insurance

We strongly advise our clients to buy a comprehensive insurance policy before making any trip with us, or alone. Please make sure that the company covers all medical, personal accident, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation including helicopter rescue, mountaineering hazards, loss or theft of valuables, & flight cancellations.

Abiding the Law

Nepalese law dictates that if a traveler violates any national law or any other rules and regulations our company reserves the full right to end service without refund.

Required Documents

Obtaining all travel insurance, vaccinations and visas required by Nepal and/or the traveler’s home nation are the sole responsibility of the customer. Some higher risk adventures require evacuation and health insurance and it is the sole responsibility of the customer to provide proof of insurance prior to engaging in these activities.

Amendment to Tour Cost

We reserve the right to amend tour costs barring unforeseen circumstances such as weather, natural disaster or changes in political or social climate that require our clients and guides to be delayed in any capacity.

Incomplete Tour

No refund will be provided if our clients decide to end their journey early regardless of how much or how little remains on a customers’ itinerary.

Jurisprudence

Breakfree Adventures Pvt. Ltd. is a limited company registered with the Nepal Government & observes all government policies & regulation acts.

Any legal case against this company should be filed in a Nepal Court under Nepal Government’s rules & regulations for legal treatment.
