Every aspect of your journey from meals, transportation and lodging, to treks, tours and activities are all carefully planned and arranged so that your journey is a worry free and pleasurable experience. We understand that your leisure/vacation time should feel relaxing and not at all feel like a hassle. Providing 24 hour support during our clients visit to Nepal assures that if any situations requiring help or assistance should arise, one of our caring representatives would be within arms reach to remedy any and all concerns.
Safety
The top priority for Breakfree Adventures is our customer’s safety and comfort through their entire journey to Nepal. Our leaders have all been thoroughly trained by KEEP, ACAP and TAAN in travel safety and in leading groups through the Himalayas. All of our guides have attended Nepalese Government administered training courses in first aid and CPR to assure our clients safety. In the rare case of an incident occurring on the trek, they can organize a rapid medical evacuation. All of our guides carry first aid kits on all of our tours, which are readily available for both customers and staff. We stay in constant contact with our field office that monitors all aspects of weather issues that might affect activities. Also, we are available 24/7 on our emergency phone line. During remote trek excursions, where the nearest village might be a long distance away, our staff carry satellite phones for communication and in case of emergency, helicopter rescue is available.
We’ll Tell You the Truth
While trekking in the Himalayas, it is possible for our customers to experience difficulties such as occasional altitude sickness and lodging that is not as comfortable as familiar hotels. Many companies will inform clients only on the positive aspects of travel and will not be honest about potential difficulties experienced along trekking routes. We do not want to mislead our clients into thinking that trekking is just a walk in the park, so we honestly inform our clients on how to best be prepared for the excursions they wish to embark upon.
